Founded in 2023, NextGen FC is a women-led, nonprofit youth soccer training and player development organization proudly serving families in Kanata and surrounding Ottawa communities.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence and experience the positive impact of sport. Our mission is to provide high-quality, affordable and inclusive soccer training that inspires young athletes to reach their potential, both on and off the field.
We are more than a traditional soccer club; we are focused on training and individual player development.
Our programs welcome players of different ages, abilities and experience levels, whether they are new to soccer, looking for additional training or striving to compete at a higher level.
Our approach focuses on five key areas of player development:
We believe development comes before winning. Our goal is to build technically confident players who love the game, embrace challenges and continue growing throughout their soccer journey.
As a nonprofit organization rooted in the Kanata community, we are committed to making quality soccer development more accessible to local families.
Through affordable programming, flexible payment options, sponsorship opportunities and financial assistance, we work to reduce barriers and create opportunities for more children to participate.
We believe financial circumstances should never define a child’s opportunity to develop and succeed.
We are proud to be a women-led organization supporting greater representation of women and girls in sport.
Our co-ed programs provide an inclusive environment where players learn and develop together. As NextGen FC grows, we are committed to expanding opportunities for girls through dedicated programming, increased female coaching representation and new development pathways.
We want young athletes to see that sport creates opportunities not only to become great players, but also confident individuals, mentors and future leaders.
To build a stronger, more inclusive soccer community in Kanata where young players are supported, challenged and inspired to achieve their goals.
Whether their journey leads to competitive soccer, higher levels of play or simply a lifelong passion for the game, we want NextGen FC to be part of the foundation that helps them succeed.
More than soccer. More than skills. Developing the next generation of players and leaders.
